Café Le Grand O in Guangzhou sincerely invites you to join a brand-new series of music salons—Music is the Bond of Hometown Affection. This is not only a musical feast but also a journey of spiritual return.

Music and Hometown: Resonance of Emotions

No matter where we are, our hometown will always occupy the softest corner of our hearts. Music, as an art form that transcends language and culture, has the power to closely connect us with the emotions tied to our hometowns. Every melody, every folk song, can serve as a bridge between us and our homeland, evoking memories and feelings hidden deep within.

In this series of salons, we will invite musicians from different regions to share how they express their longing and love for their hometowns through music. Whether it's traditional folk songs, modern compositions, or cross-genre fusions, each performance will take you into the hometown stories of the musicians, allowing you to feel that unique emotional bond.

Żelazowa Wola

Żelazowa Wola是與波蘭作曲家最著名的地方相關的地點——1810年，最偉大的波蘭作曲家弗雷德里克·蕭邦在這裡出生。

The Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park in Żelazowa Wola is the most famous place connected with the Polish composer - in 1810 Fryderyk Chopin, the greatest Polish composer, was born here.

Currently, the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park in Želazowa Wola is a vivid centre of culture and education with the rich offer of exhibitions, concerts and education. A visit in Żelazowa Wola is a great opportunity to listen to Chopin's pieces directly from the room where he was born, performed by the most outstanding pianists, and to see the permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as to participate in artistic and nature-related classes for children and adults.

卡塔知娜·伯列克（Katarzyna Borek）

波蘭著名鋼琴家、音樂家，華納唱片簽約藝術家、「蕭邦專家」。自幼師從蕭賽評委會主席卡塔知娜·波波娃——齊德龍教授（Katarzyna Popowa - Zydroń），曾就讀於波蘭格但斯克蕭邦音樂學校及波蘭彼得哥熙音樂學院。

於2008年在伊麗莎白女王鋼琴比賽冠軍、著名美國鋼琴家丹尼爾·布魯門撒爾教授（Daniel Blumenthal）門下獲得比利時布魯塞爾皇家音樂學院鋼琴獨奏及室內樂雙碩士文憑。目前為波蘭彼得哥熙音樂學院波波娃教授的得意博士門生。

卡塔知娜·伯列克（Katarzyna Borek）同時也是多元藝術項目的共同創作者、藝術總監，曾在「公開蕭邦」國際音樂節（華沙歌劇院）、「紀念帕德雷夫斯基」國際音樂節（華沙）、歐洲之音音樂節（羅馬尼亞布加勒斯特）、費盧西奧·布索尼國際音樂節（意大利博爾扎諾）、國際室內樂音樂節（北京）、上海世博會、上海長寧國際鋼琴音樂節、廣州戶外音樂節等全球知名國際音樂節上進行演出。

Katarzyna Borek:

A renowned Polish pianist and musician, Katarzyna Borek is a Warner Music recording artist and a "Chopin specialist." From a young age, she studied under Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, the chair of the Chopin Competition jury. She attended the Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Gdańsk, Poland, and the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

In 2008, under the guidance of Daniel Blumenthal, a celebrated American pianist and winner of the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition, she earned dual master's degrees in piano performance and chamber music from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. Currently, she is a distinguished doctoral student under Professor Popowa-Zydroń at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.

Katarzyna Borek is also a co-creator and artistic director of multidisciplinary art projects. She has performed at globally acclaimed international music festivals, including the "Chopin Open" International Music Festival (Warsaw Opera), the "Paderewski in Memoriam" International Music Festival (Warsaw), the Europafest (Bucharest, Romania), the Ferruccio Busoni International Music Festival (Bolzano, Italy), the International Chamber Music Festival (Beijing), the Shanghai World Expo, the Shanghai Changning International Piano Music Festival, and the Guangzhou Outdoor Music Festival.
